Can I get additional brush sets or miniatures?

Yes. By adding an additional amount equivalent to your selected pledge level, either now as an Optional Buy or later through the pledge manager, you will receive an extra copy of the product, including all associated stretch goals.

How to choose between two products?

During the campaign, you will be able to select only one option. During the Late Pledge, you may expand your order by adding additional items, such as extra miniatures, additional brush packs, or the full set of tutorials.

How have the miniatures been sculpted?

The figures have been traditionally sculpted entirely by hand by Allan Carrasco. No 3D modeling software has been used; therefore, STL files are not available for sale.

How are the video tutorials and painting guides?

In each project, you will follow the complete process of painting the miniature from start to finish through video tutorials. Each tutorial is divided into several parts (typically between 10 and 15), with each part lasting approximately 15 to 20 minutes, resulting in a full tutorial of around two to forth per project.

At this stage, the tutorials are focused on video content. Should we reach and unlock the corresponding stretch goals, we plan to develop additional PDF painting guides of approximately 100 to 250 pages per project. These guides will complement the videos and include a brief introduction covering materials, as well as a final section detailing all the colors used throughout the project.

The brushes are meticulously crafted by skilled artisans at the prestigious company Escoda, a brand renowned for its commitment to excellence in every brushstroke. This set features a carefully curated selection of six brushes: three synthetic brushes with different types of fibers, specifically chosen to achieve a wide range of effects, and three brushes made with high quality natural hair, selected to meet the exacting standards that define this respected manufacturer.

What are the refund policies for this project?

Refund Policy

Refund requests will only be considered within 14 days after the end of the campaign. During this period, refunds will be issued for the amount received, including applicable platform fees where possible.

After this 14-day period, any refund requests will be subject to deductions for non-recoverable fees charged by Kickstarter and BackerKit, as these fees are processed and retained by the platforms and cannot be reclaimed.

Once production has begun, all payments become non-refundable due to the allocation of funds toward manufacturing, materials, and production commitments made on behalf of backers.

This project is funded in EUR, and any approved refunds will be processed in EUR. The refunded amount will correspond to the original amount received, adjusted according to the conditions outlined above and depending on the timing of the refund request.

How do shipping costs work?

Shipping costs will be calculated based on the total weight of the selected products and the destination country. These costs will be charged separately through the BackerKit pledge manager after the campaign has ended.

For transparency, we provide an indicative shipping cost chart for each pledge level. Please note that any additional items added during the pledge manager will increase the total weight of the shipment, and therefore the final shipping cost will be adjusted accordingly.

At this stage, it is not possible to determine exact shipping fees. Any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or additional charges imposed by local authorities are the responsibility of the backer.

Will VAT be applied to my pledge, and how will I know the final amount before payment?

In compliance with EU and UK regulations, VAT will be applied to pledges placed by backers located in these regions. The exact VAT amount cannot be estimated in advance, as it varies depending on the destination country and is calculated based on the total order value, including both products and shipping costs.

Please note that the applicable VAT will be clearly itemized and displayed within the Pledge Manager prior to final payment, allowing you to review the full amount before confirming your order.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
